WhereIsCherry Street photography
The four reasons why I like making photos can explain me well.
1.
The pleasure of distortion: distorting the world through the process of manipulating images. Handling angle, focal length, shutter speed and post-process allows me to produce a variety of flavours from a single scene. Such processes encourage me to feel omnipotent.
2.
The pleasure of discovery. Asking myself why I captured the particular images in those specific angles and timing, leads me to the opportunity to understand myself better. The parts of me, which I have not been aware of, surprise me. Everyone enjoys learning about their own selves, and I do, too.
3.
The pleasure of aesthetic. The beauty of things is satisfying and it is more so when the dynamic between the form and the contents is well-balanced.
4.
The pleasure of humour. While holding a camera and looking people through the lens, I try to find humour. My main focus of street photography is the sense of humour. Mixed in with the crowd I wait to find a right moment.
